Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Pankracy Bugno made a huge save. In the 65th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. After 69 minutes, Guillermo Mariano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Kanalie players grew even worse after the yellow card.
