Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Joel Gaona made the kick off which started today's match. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Marques in the 5th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Eustaquio Marques's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Renato Vidal despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Renato Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 18th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Marques came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ's Elvio Hibai got a free kick in the 26th minute. After having played for 27 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ's Renato Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Renato Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renato Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Lorenzo Cazalla almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ's Renato Vidal did a great save. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Renato Vidal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Renato Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Zorita to maneuver through the defense. If Eustaquio Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Régis Madureira in the 52nd minute of play. In the 56thth minute of the game Lautaro Mancebo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ's Renato Vidal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ's Klaus-Dieter Scheuch got a free kick in the 60th minute. ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ's Renato Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute of the match Mexico got a corner. ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ's Perivaldo Queiroz got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 75th minute of play forced ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ's goalkeeper Renato Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Tafalla was extremely unlucky when he, in the 79th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ's Witomir Marosz was substituted for Perivaldo Queiroz. After 84 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Felix Luque. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Régis Madureira in the 88th minute of play. Despite being the better team, Mexico failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
