Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 4th minute of play forced Polly Magoo Juniors's goalkeeper Markus Fågel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Polly Magoo Juniors's Markus Fågel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 5th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Markus Fågel. Polly Magoo Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Polly Magoo Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Markus Fågel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 17 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 21 minutes, Alf Bredberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Polly Magoo Juniors and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Polly Magoo Juniors's Alf Bredberg got a free kick in the 21st minute. Markus Fågel came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A hard shot 27 in the game by Jan-Erik Tunberg from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Markus Fågel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. 30 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Polly Magoo Juniors's Markus Fågel. Markus Fågel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gösta Bergman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 34 minutes into the game, Jan-Erik Tunberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Jan-Erik Tunberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Polly Magoo Juniors's Markus Fågel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 42nd minute of play. Polly Magoo Juniors's Gösta Bergman got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jan-Erik Tunberg made the kick off in the second half. Jan-Erik Tunberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Erik Tunberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute of the match Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Markus Fågel skillfully saved the ball. In the 63rd minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Markus Fågel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Polly Magoo Juniors's Markus Fågel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Polly Magoo Juniors from getting a goal against them. Ecuador's Luis Andino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Markus Fågel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 70 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. If Roy Johnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy Johnsson in the 71st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Jan-Erik Tunberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Markus Fågel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Daniel Zorita put it in 2-5 from a short distance just to the right of Markus Fågel. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gösta Bergman in the 89th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Markus Fågel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
