The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Runa United getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Harry Boumans hit a great ball. After 58 minutes, Tomas Illescas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Runa United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Tage Deckbergh scored 2-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 65 minutes into the game, Tage Deckbergh cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jens Nordström might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jens Nordström ran back to his position shaking his head. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 姜青超 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. Bogdan Pânzaru was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 79th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tage Deckbergh went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Joel Andreasson might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Andreasson ran back to his position shaking his head. 93 minutes into the match, Runa United's Harry Boumans sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with 姜青超 in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tage Deckbergh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Runa United fully deserved thier win.
