Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Tião Amaral made the kick off in the second half. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Muget's goalkeeper Isac Gligor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Isac Gligor successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 72 minutes into the game, Joan Quesada was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Muget's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Milagros Fraga. Eliseo Alcocer struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Isac Gligor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. After 87 minutes Muget's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eliseo Mina who took care of the corner kick. Eliseo Mina made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that Muget's Isac Gligor managed to reach the ball for a save.
