Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Kurt Groll made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th minute, Costa Rica's Alexander Carballo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alexander Carballo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Costa Rica protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alexander Carballo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 4th minute, one of Costa Rica:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Costa Rica. After 10 minutes, Kurt Groll made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 12 minutes into the game, Kurt Groll recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Kurt Groll showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. In the 17th minute, Lautaro Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Groll in the 18th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Pégasus F. C.'s Kurt Groll slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 4-0 after 21 minutes of play. Kurt Groll could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Kurt Groll got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 5-0. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Pégasus F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hílton Albuquerque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kurt Groll succeeded in the game's 33rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-0. Lu Xing Song sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41stth minute of the game Lu Xing Song who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 42nd minute, Kurt Groll fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 44 minutes into the game, Xande Sharkin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Xande Sharkin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 7-0. A hard shot 48 in the game by Kurt Groll from a close distance when the talented Benito Sanz managed to make a qualified save. Costa Rica's players were relieved.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eliseo Noboa was the one to do the kick off. Hílton Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. The corner led Costa Rica's Axel Tasis to fire away a dangerous shot which Umberto Cunha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Kurt Groll kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. After 64 minutes, Kurt Groll made it 9-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pégasus F. C.'s Bebeto Medeiros was substituted for Paulo José Barral. Pégasus F. C.'s Qiao Ang Le was substituted for Hílton Albuquerque. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lu Xing Song in the 72nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a free kick in the 74th minute. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Pégasus F. C.'s Qiao Ang Le. But to his dismay, Qiao Ang Le quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Lu Xing Song kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 12-0 when Lu Xing Song sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. 93 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Qiao Ang Le came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 minutes of play, Pégasus F. C.'s Qiao Ang Le made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there!
