Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Rodolfo Montay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Rodolfo Montay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 17 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliseu Bragança was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 20th minute of the match, Rodolfo Montay tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 22nd minute Rodolfo Montay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Campus Douro Academy's Eliseu Bragança played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Campus Douro Academy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Campus Douro Academy's goalie and right to Luis Andino. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Campus Douro Academy's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vedat Burçhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eliseu Bragança saved Campus Douro Academy from getting behind. When Pankracy Gozdowski fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Campus Douro Academy's protests and gave Pankracy Gozdowski a yellow card for diving instead. 49 minutes into the match, Campus Douro Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Eliseu Bragança reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vedat Burçhan was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Agustín Saelices mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Campus Douro Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. Vedat Burçhan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that André Pestana got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 63 minutes into the match, Campus Douro Academy's goalkeeper Eliseu Bragança had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vedat Burçhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After 71 played minutes Campus Douro Academy got a freekick which was hit by Vedat Burçhan. The audience was convinced that Rodolfo Montay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Vedat Burçhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd match minute, Campus Douro Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Miguéis to maneuver through the defense. After 84 played minutes Campus Douro Academy got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Miguéis. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vedat Burçhan in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Montay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Despite being the better team, Ecuador failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
