Péter Mészáros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 9 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Indiano. Péter Mészáros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Gabriel Fabelo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Thiago Pliego when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mariano Lacasa scored 0-3 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Péter Mészáros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Péter Mészáros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Csabagyöngye's goalie and right to Orlando Casaus. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Csabagyöngye's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 23 minutes into the match, Orlando Casaus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Péter Mészáros. Csabagyöngye's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orlando Casaus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 29th minute of play forced Csabagyöngye's goalkeeper Péter Mészáros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Fabelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 37 in the game by Gabriel Fabelo from a close distance when the talented Thiago Pliego managed to make a qualified save. Chile's players were relieved. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Fabelo in the 38th minute of play. After 44 played minutes Gabriel Fabelo rounded Chile's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriel Fabelo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbert Dömötör, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 58 minutes, Norbert Kiss managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Csabagyöngye's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norbert Kiss was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francisco Carballar hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Csabagyöngye's Conrado Saraiva was substituted for Gergely Dobi. In the 64th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Carballar to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Gabriel Fabelo notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Péter Mészáros in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Róbert Dömötör in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Fabelo's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Róbert Dömötör was slow to take the kick. During this time Csabagyöngye's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Richárd Herceg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thiago Pliego quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Saraiva in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute Conrado Saraiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chile had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
