Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Villa Lourdes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Raulo to maneuver through the defense. 6 minutes into the match, Mauro Walme notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 10 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Valiente came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Villa Lourdes FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulino Valiente scored 2-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Paulino Valiente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 20th play minute Paulino Valiente came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benito Sanz. 3-0. In the 22nd match minute, Villa Lourdes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Rameriz to maneuver through the defense. Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Paulino Valiente sent off a good shot on target. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Valiente in the 33rd minute of play. The Villa Lourdes FC fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Villa Lourdes FC's Paulino Valiente looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Valiente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulino Valiente's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Paulino Valiente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa Lourdes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulino Valiente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulino Valiente's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Paulino Valiente took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After 64 minutes, Paulino Valiente made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulino Valiente in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute, Paulino Valiente left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villa Lourdes FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. 73 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Valiente came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Silverio Mitxaut kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Villa Lourdes FC made a substitution. Nicasio Erauso replaced Albino Mikelar. Villa Lourdes FC's Dominic Pastor was substituted for Paulino Valiente. Dominic Pastor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominic Pastor, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Silverio Mitxaut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Dominic Pastor notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Baltasar Remicio kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
