In the 25th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Leicea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Carl Rundell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnoldo Leicea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 34th minute of play. In the 38th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Leicea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MarineerS FK's Arnoldo Leicea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Mastache in the 39th minute of play. Arnoldo Leicea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, MarineerS FK's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Arnoldo Leicea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Arnoldo Leicea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 87th minute of play.
