Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute, Kazimierz Birkenhagen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 6th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Du saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Kazimierz Birkenhagen tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, NDVX's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Du reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Du quite easily take care of the ball. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Bento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After 29 minutes, Dominik Pietrasz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NDVX and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when NDVX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominik Pietrasz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Du showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of play forced NDVX's goalkeeper Du to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Bento in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kazimierz Birkenhagen in the 39th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Du saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kazimierz Birkenhagen made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Kazimierz Birkenhagen managed to get in a good position for a shot. NDVX's supporters rose to their feet, but Kazimierz Birkenhagen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 53 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Bento came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 54 minutes, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Carlos Bento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Bento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kazimierz Birkenhagen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Du tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, NDVX's Du got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Du despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Du narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of NDVX booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes in the game Camilo Gisbert did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Felix Montenegro. Du made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. 92 minutes into the match, NDVX's goalkeeper Du had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Kazimierz Jastrowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Du read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
