In the 44th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Yepes to maneuver through the defense.

In the 51st minute, Best Friend ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Marco Tamayo got a free kick in the 58th minute. Marco Tamayo's late challenge caught a 2052's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Tamayo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Marco Tamayo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, 2052's Bartosz Rasimowicz got a free kick in the 68th minute. Moises Fernandino charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moises Fernandino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th minute, Moises Fernandino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 이 윤, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartosz Rasimowicz in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. Bartosz Rasimowicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Zorita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bartosz Rasimowicz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 87th minute, Jesus Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Bartosz Rasimowicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. In the 96th minute Bartosz Rasimowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
