In the 24thth minute of the game Valentin Voicu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Delmar Campello was slow to take the kick. During this time VILLARREAL UNITED's players had a chance to rest. 27 minutes into the match, VILLARREAL UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Baraxil Sarrate reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentin Voicu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 31st playminute. The VILLARREAL UNITED fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baraxil Sarrate should have stopped the shot.
