But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Bayındır Sarıkaya came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DEMİREL.FC's Ambrosio Dobarral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 25th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, DEMİREL.FC's Bayındır Sarıkaya sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aykan İskenderoğlu during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for DEMİREL.FC.
