Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kaká Fenomeno started the match with the kick off. Michel Kinell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano got a free kick in the 15th minute. Jacobo Nores was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kaká Fenomeno showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. A well placed Kaká Fenomeno short distance shot in the 19th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. In the 27th play minute John Daly came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jacobo Nores. 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Nykvarn's John Daly slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jacobo Nores. That made the score 5-0 after 31 minutes of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Kaká Fenomeno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nykvarn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaká Fenomeno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jaime Pardo came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Pardo couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Óscar Fux during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th minute, Óscar Fux hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 6-0 became the score in the 46th minute when John Daly elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Pardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kaká Fenomeno in the 56 minute of the game. In the 58th minute John Daly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaime Pardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Michel Kinell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When John Daly fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nykvarn's protests and gave John Daly a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Nykvarn getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. John Daly hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Jaime Pardo made a precise shot to the right of Michel Kinell. Nykvarn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Hampus Hammarström might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Nores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hampus Hammarström ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 70th minute Hampus Hammarström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. John Daly hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Alan Campos from long distance, 74 minutes into the match, got Michel Kinell's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a rather tough play, Nykvarn's Johan Sjöberg got a free kick in the 77th minute. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Fenomeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 81 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Alan Campos. In the 86th minute Paraguay were awarded a corner. Jaime Pardo went to the cornerflag to take it. Alan Campos made a great header on Paraguay's corner, it was just that Nykvarn's Michel Kinell managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 87th match minute, Nykvarn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fritz Hake to maneuver through the defense. Many of Paraguay's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Paraguay may have spent more time on the ball, but Nykvarn were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
