An unexpectedly hard shot by 김 준 in the 32nd minute of play forced Serbia's goalkeeper Jeremije Mirković to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Dušan Vlahovic left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Serbia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Serbia's Jeremije Mirković played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 김 준 in the 37th minute of play. When 김 준 came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the South Korea fans jumped to their feet. After 91 minutes of play, Serbia's Ugochukwutubelum Antetokounmpo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 박 서문 was left in no man's land by his defense there! Serbia's Stanimir Nestorovski was substituted for Dušan Vlahovic. For all the effort they put into the match, the South Korea players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Serbia.
