Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Wit Lampa sent off a good shot on target. The nice shot from Concetto Rucci in the 10thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Dante Lacasa had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wit Lampa in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Sporting Club Sicilia's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Alvaro Sanna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Concetto De Nardis in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guaberto Cristos charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guaberto Cristos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sporting Club Sicilia getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Guaberto Cristos hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yu Yi Fei during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, one of Sporting Club Sicilia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sporting Club Sicilia. 23 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Concetto Rucci. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wit Lampa in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 26th minute of play forced Sporting Club Sicilia's goalkeeper Alvaro Sanna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Concetto Rucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alvaro Sanna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute of the match Sporting Club Sicilia got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Concetto De Nardis ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Marick Hofmeester got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dante Lacasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Felix Luque hit a great ball. After 37 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alvaro Sanna was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alvaro Sanna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 39th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Concetto De Nardis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Concetto De Nardis really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Sanna having to interfere. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Concetto De Nardis in the 54th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Concetto De Nardis, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Luca Rouco hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute of the match Concetto De Nardis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dante Lacasa skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Concetto De Nardis in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. In the 61st minute Concetto De Nardis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute Concetto Rucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvaro Sanna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Club Sicilia's goalkeeper Alvaro Sanna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Wit Lampa came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Nazzaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sporting Club Sicilia's Dino Coletti was substituted for Emiliano Pizziolo. In the 76th minute Guaberto Cristos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sporting Club Sicilia's Wit Lampa got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute Concetto De Nardis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sporting Club Sicilia's Concetto De Nardis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dante Lacasa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Sporting Club Sicilia's Alvaro Sanna got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Concetto Rucci came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Luca Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, Joel Gaona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
