After a defensive mix-up in FC Zhelezna's zone, Axel Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Milyo Gelovski came out of the goal and Axel Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilberto Garaile. Milyo Gelovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FC Zhelezna's Iliyan Rumenin got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 24 minutes of play, Colombia's Axel Montenegro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Milyo Gelovski was left in no man's land by his defense there! 29 minutes into the match, FC Zhelezna's Gilberto Garaile sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
