Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Thierry Henry made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Salvador Gisbert hit a great ball. In the 14th match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zico Zellier to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Thierry Henry got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mario Gomez hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas who after having made a long run got a chance for a shot on goal. Despite a couple of nice moves Nery Pumpido's wasn't to be fooled and made an easy save when Tomas Illescas was beeing forced to shoot. After a long run with the ball, Tomas Illescas did a trick in the 23rd minute in front of GuateFortín's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 2-1. An impressive performance by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas! Thierry Henry's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Zico Zellier capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zico Zellier really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. 32 minutes into the game, Thierry Henry recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Thierry Henry showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. Thierry Henry could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. GuateFortín were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Angel Alvarenga took the corner. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Thierry Henry tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by GuateFortín's Thierry Henry. But to his dismay, Thierry Henry quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Mario Gomez kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Roberto Trotta lost his temper 53 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of GuateFortín:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Venezuela:s goal. The referee gave Venezuela a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tomas Illescas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido. 5-2. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zico Zellier, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Mario Gomez charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mario Gomez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nery Pumpido. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Zico Zellier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. GuateFortín's William Villanueva was substituted for Zico Zellier. 64 minutes into the match, William Villanueva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that William Villanueva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-2. William Villanueva took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-2. 75 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Alvarenga came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thierry Henry went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-2 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thierry Henry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by GuateFortín's Thierry Henry. But to his dismay, Thierry Henry quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-2. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, William Villanueva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. GuateFortín's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
