Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Taurino Hernaiz made the kick off and thus started the match. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Taurino Hernaiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Taurino Hernaiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th minute, Genaro Harroyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Maximiliano Escribano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Escribano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stanislav Dvorskiy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 10 played minutes Resistencia Tayrona FC got a freekick which was hit by Zernin Losa. When Francisco Seco came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Seco couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Taurino Hernaiz got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Taurino Hernaiz notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 22 minutes, Taurino Hernaiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Resistencia Tayrona FC and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Resistencia Tayrona FC's Taurino Hernaiz got a free kick in the 22nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Taurino Hernaiz in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Resistencia Tayrona FC's Stanislav Dvorskiy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Resistencia Tayrona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zernin Losa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute Zernin Losa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Seco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Resistencia Tayrona FC got a freekick which was hit by Taurino Hernaiz. In the 56thth minute of the game Taurino Hernaiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 61st minute Taurino Hernaiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Taurino Hernaiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Sainz. Ingmar Kracke took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Resistencia Tayrona FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Leonides Rioja hit a great ball. Stanislav Dvorskiy acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 75th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jaime Cazalla. Resistencia Tayrona FC's Stanislav Dvorskiy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Resistencia Tayrona FC from getting a goal against them. 79 minutes into the match, Resistencia Tayrona FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Stanislav Dvorskiy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stanislav Dvorskiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 81st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Rencio Diez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. Maximiliano Escribano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 94 played minutes Resistencia Tayrona FC got a freekick which was hit by Ospetsu Villagarcia. Resistencia Tayrona FC's Stanislav Dvorskiy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Resistencia Tayrona FC from getting a goal against them.
