Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Vito having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angel Vito was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Adilson Breckenfeld's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. During the 65th minute of the match Jose Correa completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jose Correa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adilson Breckenfeld in the 72nd minute of the match. After 74 minutes, Peng Xiong made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peng Xiong was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Crottos Crotters F.C. fully deserved thier win.
