Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonin Dagorne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herblay's Arnaud Konieczny got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 23rd minute by Arnaud Konieczny got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Arnaud Konieczny kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Arnaud Konieczny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ludomil Kajdasz. Ludomil Kajdasz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Antonin Dagorne scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 2-1. In the 44th match minute, Herblay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sylvain Missonnier to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnaud Konieczny made a kick off. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaud Konieczny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Arnaud Konieczny stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Arnaud Konieczny tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitri Bougault in the 61st minute of play. The corner led Herblay's Dimitri Bougault to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Norbert Cadart had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Norbert Cadart was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Ludomil Kajdasz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Herblay's Arnaud Konieczny in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Herblay's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dimitri Bougault in the 75th minute. After 76 minutes, Arnaud Konieczny made it 6-1 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 81 minutes into the match, Herblay's goalkeeper Ludomil Kajdasz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. In the 84th minute Arnaud Konieczny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Herblay's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Ludomil Kajdasz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonin Dagorne, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Noureddine Gerbeau's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Noureddine Gerbeau helped the player get up and apologised. Noureddine Gerbeau kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Dimitri Bougault's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Arnaud Konieczny scored 7-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Herblay fully deserved thier win.
