Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuele Corsi in the 7th minute. 1-0 became the score in the 11th minute when Emanuele Corsi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Sertaç Cansefa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 22nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. 26 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Daniele Danza came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santiago Pes's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santiago Pes helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Civetta Calcio's Santiago Pes got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 31 played minutes Civetta Calcio got a freekick which was hit by Daniele Danza. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sertaç Cansefa in the 34th minute of play. Daniele Danza struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Civetta Calcio. In the 39th minute Daniele Danza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sertaç Cansefa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 40 minute of play. Emanuele Corsi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 47th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emanuele Corsi to strike the kick off in the second half. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Civetta Calcio's Octavio Atarrabi got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ricardo Arias in the 57 minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Anthony Sacchi in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 62 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Daniele Danza came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Sertaç Cansefa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuele Corsi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Octavio Atarrabi was slow to take the kick. During this time Civetta Calcio's players had a chance to rest. Sertaç Cansefa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Civetta Calcio made a substitution. Baba Paaby replaced Emanuele Corsi. In the 77th minute Baba Paaby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Civetta Calcio's Sertaç Cansefa got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Francesco Totti came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86thth minute of the game Francesco Totti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Francesco Totti put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. When Baba Paaby came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Civetta Calcio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baba Paaby couldn't finish the play. Anthony Sacchi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 95th minute. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baba Paaby's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. When the referee ended the match the Civetta Calcio players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
