The supporters of Colombia booed when Litoral EC - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andy Six didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Litoral EC - CIMZ getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Jan Urban hit a great ball. In the 29th minute Jonathan Petri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Axel Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Montenegro couldn't finish the play. Kıvanç Bengi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abram Sarmiento in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kıvanç Bengi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Colombia's Abram Secada in the 70th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Kıvanç Bengi was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Litoral EC - CIMZ through an amazing save. 72 minutes into the game, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Steven Bergwijn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Steven Bergwijn might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Steven Bergwijn ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steven Bergwijn in the 75th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. After 78 played minutes Litoral EC - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Paulinho Penha. Steven Bergwijn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Steven Bergwijn scored 4-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ignacio Mastache took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kıvanç Bengi. Kıvanç Bengi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. Luis Cazalla made in the 91st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Pascual Carballar immediately put the ball in play. After some careless play in the Litoral EC - CIMZ defense, Abram Secada kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kıvanç Bengi. The Litoral EC - CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kıvanç Bengi should have stopped the shot.
