Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauro Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 14th minute, Lauro Moreira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atletico Chusca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 22 minutes, Santino Seco mouthed his way into the referee's book. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serafin Eate prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Colombia's attentive Antonio Indiano managed to snatch the ball when Herman Arvidsson made a throw-in in the 27th minute of the game. Serafin Eate stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abram Sarmiento's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Lauro Moreira scored 2-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Montenegro in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serafin Eate prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 42 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Chusca's Lauro Moreira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafin Eate. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Axel Montenegro put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Serafin Eate. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lauro Moreira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Club Atletico Chusca's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Santino Seco 92 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colombia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club Atletico Chusca.
