Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 7th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Göteborg's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kalle Stål in the 17th minute. The corner led Göteborg's Kalle Stål to fire away a dangerous shot which Benito Sanz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Kalle Stål managed to get in a good position for a shot. Göteborg's supporters rose to their feet, but Kalle Stål was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexander Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Oscar Hellsing kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 2-0 in the 24 minute of play. When Kalle Stål came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Göteborg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kalle Stål couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Juan Rubio got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute, Kalle Stål made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Rubio during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Juan Rubio got a free kick in the 39th minute. Göteborg's Oscar Hellsing got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lukas Fogel hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kalle Stål stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juan Rubio was shown his second yellow card after 53 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. In the 55th minute of the match Kalle Stål sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Göteborg's David Ödmann got a free kick in the 57th minute. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. 谢冰适 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kalle Stål had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Oscar Hellsing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Göteborg's Tommy Janssen was substituted for Kalle Stål. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Puig got free with 谢冰适 in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Göteborg's Roger Bröms got a free kick in the 81st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Roger Bröms managed to get in a good position for a shot. Göteborg's supporters rose to their feet, but Roger Bröms was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Hellsing in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alexander Carballo got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the referee ended the match the Göteborg players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
