The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 9 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Chusca's goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Carballar came free, but Serafin Eate reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 played minutes Club Atletico Chusca got a freekick which was hit by Lauro Moreira. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Lauro Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Chusca's supporters rose to their feet, but Lauro Moreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Chusca's Lauro Moreira. But to his dismay, Lauro Moreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Chusca's Richie Craig got a free kick in the 18th minute. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Serafin Eate having to make a save. 26 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Lauro Moreira came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santino Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Eate having to interfere. Colombia's Axel Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When 贺皓扬 fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atletico Chusca's protests and gave 贺皓扬 a yellow card for diving instead. Colombia made a substitution. Gael Capmany replaced Joshua Garrido. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Serafin Eate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Eate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Lauro Moreira tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Atletico Chusca! Axel Montenegro shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Lauro Moreira made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Club Atletico Chusca's Lauro Moreira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With a little luck, Club Atletico Chusca's Serafin Eate got control of the ball when Axel Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Gumaro in the 58th minute of play. Colombia's Kevin Mastache quite brazenly broke a throw-in by 贺皓扬, made in the 64th minute of the game. Club Atletico Chusca's Alberto Confesor was substituted for Herman Arvidsson. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atletico Chusca's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kevin Mastache was slow to take the kick. During this time Colombia's players had a chance to rest. Abram Secada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute Abram Secada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Eate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blas Edorta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Santo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignacio Mastache in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serafin Eate saved Club Atletico Chusca from getting behind. Serafin Eate stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ignacio Mastache's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. The Colombia fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Colombia's Ignacio Mastache looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Chusca's 贺皓扬 got a free kick in the 88th minute. Club Atletico Chusca's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Ignacio Mastache scored to the left of an out of position Serafin Eate, making the score, 2-2. Abram Secada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Eate having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Lauro Moreira came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
