Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eelco Neijsen got the match started through his kick off. After 3 minutes, Niels Schirring mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Winthont FC and the Curacao players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Niels Schirring hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marshall Graham to maneuver through the defense. Fokke Bergman came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Curacao's Kyle Davies. But to his dismay, Kyle Davies quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Winthont FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rocco Owen came free, but Fokke Bergman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fokke Henselmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24th play minutes Eelco Neijsen shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Bruno Barrett and just under the crossbar into goal. Eelco Neijsen in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bruno Barrett, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fokke Henselmans in the 35th minute of play. Bruno Barrett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eelco Neijsen in the 45th minute. 48 minutes into the game, Winthont FC's Eelco Neijsen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Kyle Davies made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eelco Neijsen in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Barrett saved Curacao from getting behind. Eelco Neijsen scored 6-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Winthont FC made a substitution. Carlo Vonk replaced Kurt Neijsen. After 65 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Harvey Doyle. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Vonk in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Fokke Henselmans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Eelco Neijsen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Barrett was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. After 73 minutes of play, Winthont FC's Eelco Neijsen made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Stanley Wallace had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Winthont FC's goalkeeper Fokke Bergman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stanley Wallace. In the 82nd minute, Fokke Henselmans left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Winthont FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-1. In the 90th minute Niels Schirring shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Winthont FC's Eelco Neijsen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruno Barrett narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marshall Graham charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marshall Graham the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 95 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Marshall Graham. Winthont FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
