Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Paranaense in the 4th minute of play. Yuri Paranaense succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 4th playminute. Paraguay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Roneixon Siqueira scored to the left of an out of position Jacobo Nores, making the score, 2-0. Roneixon Siqueira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Jacobo Nores when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 17 minutes of play, Espigão Steamrollers's Yuri Paranaense made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Nores was left in no man's land by his defense there! Yuri Paranaense made in the 20th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ulisses Carioca immediately put the ball in play. Paraguay's attentive Jaime Pardo managed to snatch the ball when Yuri Paranaense made a throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 23rd minute, Roneixon Siqueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roneixon Siqueira let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 24th minute shot 5-0 at rihgt post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 9-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Pardo made a kick off. When Thorstein Heinsmann came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Espigão Steamrollers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thorstein Heinsmann couldn't finish the play. Thorstein Heinsmann took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Gil in the 57th minute of play. Leandro Gil scored 11-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thorstein Heinsmann made in the 63rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Roneixon Siqueira. 64 minutes into the game, Espigão Steamrollers's Leandro Gil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Nores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. When Oswaldo Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Espigão Steamrollers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oswaldo Nascimento couldn't finish the play. 68 minutes into the match, Thorstein Heinsmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thorstein Heinsmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 13-0. In the 71st minute Thorstein Heinsmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Thorstein Heinsmann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 14-0. In the 77th minute of the match Espigão Steamrollers got a corner. Paraguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Oswaldo Nascimento ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Espigão Steamrollers fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Espigão Steamrollers's Kara Bhattacharya looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 15-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 94th minute, Kara Bhattacharya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96thth minute of the game Kara Bhattacharya who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paraguay's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
