Pacorro Aguilar kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 18thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Uruguay's keeper Joaquin Gayoso was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Pacorro Aguilar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Joaquin Gayoso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Pacorro Aguilar succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 26th playminute. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pacorro Aguilars short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Joaquin Gayoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pacorro Aguilar came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Joaquin Gayoso could save by the left post. In the 38th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin van der Sar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Iliana Seseña threw the ball into play from the sideline. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Seco was the one to do the kick off. Aurelio Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ made a substitution. Pero Falla replaced Pacorro Aguilar. Noel Guerrero made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Uruguay's Arturo Carvallo. Edwin van der Sar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pero Falla in the 88th minute of play.
