Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Roque Aguilar kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 8th minute of play forced Sporting Westmeerbeek's goalkeeper Norbert Verhulst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnold Colpaert's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnold Colpaert helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sporting Westmeerbeek's Arnold Colpaert got a free kick in the 9th minute. After 10 played minutes, Panama's Abraham Alguacil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Norbert Verhulst came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Panama reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Westmeerbeek's zone, Isidoro Sarmiento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norbert Verhulst came out of the goal and Isidoro Sarmiento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Sporting Westmeerbeek booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Barrios didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 20 minutes Panama's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luck Hodson who took care of the corner kick. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Verhulst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Sporting Westmeerbeek defense, Tomas Berganza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norbert Verhulst. The Sporting Westmeerbeek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norbert Verhulst should have stopped the shot. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Çelebi Tublek, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dylan Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Roque Aguilar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 39 played minutes Sporting Westmeerbeek got a freekick which was hit by Arnold Colpaert. Norbert Verhulst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Sporting Westmeerbeek's Çelebi Tublek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Norbert Verhulst came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Tomas Berganza. But to his dismay, Tomas Berganza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The Sporting Westmeerbeek players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Panama were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Tomas Berganza made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Bart-Jan De Vaddere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute, Harry Steuckens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norbert Verhulst acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 55th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Abraham Alguacil. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Sarmiento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norbert Verhulst breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Aguilar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Panama's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luck Hodson was slow to take the kick. During this time Sporting Westmeerbeek's players had a chance to rest. Sporting Westmeerbeek's Luck Hodson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcos Cotilla in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Sporting Westmeerbeek getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Alex Sarangapani hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Norbert Verhulst, 1-3. If Abraham Alguacil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Tomas Berganza might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Norbert Verhulst. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Berganza ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomas Berganza kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Norbert Verhulst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Jacque De Brouwer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Panama's Tomas Berganza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Norbert Verhulst. Norbert Verhulst yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. 98 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Aguilar came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panama played a much better game than Sporting Westmeerbeek and deserved their victory. The Sporting Westmeerbeek players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
