After a rather tough play, Apocalipse FC's Luís Fábio Vale got a free kick in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the game, one of Apocalipse FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Nico Alcântara tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 14th minute of play forced Apocalipse FC's goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dylan Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Berganza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gianluigi Buffon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gianluigi Buffon having to interfere. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Aaron Barrios hit a great ball. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcos Rodrigues got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Panama booed when Apocalipse FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fábio Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Berganza kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Tomas Berganza fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Apocalipse FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Alguacil came free, but Gianluigi Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute Jailson Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute Apocalipse FC were awarded a corner. Marcos Rodrigues went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Marcos Rodrigues got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcos Cotilla quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Sérgio Machado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Apocalipse FC and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Apocalipse FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Panama:s goal. Gianluigi Buffon had in the 57thth minute some difficulties stopping Abraham Alguacil's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Gianluigi Buffon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Isidoro Sarmiento showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 58 minute of play. Gianluigi Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 62nd minute of the match. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. If Abraham Alguacil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gianluigi Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 71st minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Jailson Sousa came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Jailson Sousa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jailson Sousa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Gianluigi Buffon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Berganza went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 96 minutes of play, Apocalipse FC's Marcos Rodrigues made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there!
