In the 18th minute of the match Elmtaryd Agunnaryd got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Markus Nordström ran over to the corner to take the kick. Markus Nordström made a great header on Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Aaron Ramsdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Berg came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute of the game Camilo Gisbert made a throw-in which Luis Andino played forward. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Aaron Ramsdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play. Ionuț Mincă's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ionuț Mincă helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd minute, Ionuț Mincă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aaron Ramsdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Torbjörn Berg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of play forced Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Torbjörn Berg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After a rather tough play, Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Torbjörn Berg got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes in the game Camilo Gisbert did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cristian Sancho.

After 57 played minutes Elmtaryd Agunnaryd got a freekick which was hit by Ralf Smedfeldt. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66thth minute of the game Torbjörn Berg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Berg came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aaron Ramsdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 74th minute of the match. In the 77th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Felix Montenegro managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Jörgen Vikström was substituted for Martin Juračka. Torbjörn Berg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Torbjörn Berg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elmtaryd Agunnaryd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 88 played minutes Elmtaryd Agunnaryd got a freekick which was hit by Eddie Hake. If Torbjörn Berg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Jörgen Vikström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elmtaryd Agunnaryd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
