The supporters of De Ontembare Leeuwen booed when Haiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernso Constant didn't get a good kick on the ball. Noel Seide made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A throw-in in the 75th minute of the game was made by Dennis Pander with Ronald Hadders as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 83rd minute Ernso Constant suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Mitchell Terpstra charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
