Sebastean Battaglia scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Quimeras Jrs.'s Sebastean Battaglia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 2-0 after 18 minutes of play. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victorio Weather in the 21st minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Quimeras Jrs. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Panama a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Abraham Alguacil, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Quimeras Jrs.'s Elias Jordy. 2-1. After having played for 27 minutes, Miguel Miralles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Miralles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Quimeras Jrs.'s Sebastean Battaglia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 3-1 after 28 minutes of play. Marcos Cotilla was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Orlando Maiorga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Orlando Maiorga really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Bo Lennartsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute, Orlando Maiorga reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcos Cotilla. The goal made the score 5-1. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Lennartsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 46 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Bo Lennartsson came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Berganza to make the kick off. When Abraham Alguacil fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Abraham Alguacil a yellow card for diving instead. Abraham Alguacil kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Jordy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 played minutes Quimeras Jrs. got a freekick which was hit by Sebastean Battaglia. 61 minutes into the game, Orlando Maiorga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Quimeras Jrs.'s Alejandro Gaspard was substituted for Bo Lennartsson. In the 66th minute, Gualterio Jusepe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quimeras Jrs. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. 70 minutes into the game, Gualterio Jusepe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alejandro Gaspard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. In the 76th minute Orlando Maiorga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Orlando Maiorga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orlando Maiorga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-1. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Gaspard in the 81st minute of play. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Gaspard in the 83rd minute of play. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Maiorga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Quimeras Jrs. fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Quimeras Jrs.'s Alejandro Gaspard looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 91 minutes of play, Quimeras Jrs.'s Alejandro Gaspard made it 11-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Gaspard in the 95th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quimeras Jrs.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
