Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After 5 minutes of play, Yalapa's Fermin Dolfo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ramon Herrera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. It was a well-played corner which Edward Jørnø managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Fermin Dolfo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Benito Sanz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Basri İhtiyar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fermin Dolfo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. The supporters of Yalapa booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Ferrant didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Fermin Dolfo made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Puig in the 31st minute of play forced Yalapa's goalkeeper Basri İhtiyar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Costa Rica were awarded a corner. Axel Tasis went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Costa Rica's corner Axel Tasis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Basri İhtiyar quite easily take care of the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Dolfo came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fermin Dolfo in the 39th minute. After having played for 40 minutes, Atilano Dino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yalapa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atilano Dino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Yalapa's Fermin Dolfo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 5-0 after 45 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fermin Dolfo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes, Juan Rubio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Yalapa players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st minute, Fermin Dolfo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Dimo in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute Atilano Dino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Dolfo in the 59th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Fermin Dolfo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fermin Dolfo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Yalapa's Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı was substituted for Fermin Dolfo. Yalapa's Tore-Andre Flø was substituted for Atilano Dino. 67 minutes into the match, Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. Yalapa's Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. When the referee ended the match the Yalapa players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
