After 42 minutes, Sabahattin Tuncaral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fifth Chicken and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edílson Souza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save.

Felix Montes's late challenge caught a Fifth Chicken's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Montes helped the player get up and apologised. Felix Montes hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After having played for 54 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Edílson Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Edílson Souza made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edílson Souza went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Fifth Chicken made a substitution. Mieszko Borkowski replaced Kazimierz Sliwinski. If Waldemar Tipinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 70 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Tipinski came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldemar Tipinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Tipinski in the 78th minute of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Waldemar Tipinski went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. If Kazimierz Siekierski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Fifth Chicken had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
