An unexpected shot in the 3rd minute by Du Lin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tommy Falck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 7th minute of play. After 8 minutes FS Elite's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abraham Alguacil who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Alex Cambeiro managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 10 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Du Lin came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Hustaz in the 13th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adrian Albom in the 15th minute. In the 15th minute Kent Åkerström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FS Elite's Tommy Falck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Astor Hustaz notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Åkerström in the 24th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Miralles to maneuver through the defense. FS Elite's Tommy Falck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 32nd minute of play. Astor Hustaz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcos Cotilla came out and tried to block the shot, but Astor Hustaz slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 34th minute. Tommy Falck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Du Lin made a kick off. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Albom in the 51st minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Åkerström came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 minutes of play, FS Elite's Du Lin made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! 62 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Hustaz came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Berganza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Falck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FS Elite's Calle Lekberg was substituted for Du Lin. 67 minutes into the match, Astor Hustaz notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 72 minutes into the game, Kent Åkerström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Calle Lekberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Cotilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Calle Lekberg ran back to his position shaking his head. With 79 minutes on the clock, Aaron Barrios commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Åkerström in the 83rd minute of play. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by FS Elite's Kent Åkerström. But to his dismay, Kent Åkerström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Abraham Alguacil kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Calle Lekberg in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Cotilla saved Panama from getting behind. After 96 minutes Panama's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adrian Albom who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on FS Elite's corner Adrian Albom fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcos Cotilla quite easily take care of the ball. Panama's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
