Fermin Savion might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fermin Savion ran back to his position shaking his head. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Savion in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Hugo Ferrant got a free kick in the 40th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Fermin Savion dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 5-0. Fermin Savion recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Fermin Savion scored 11-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 2006 Los Blancos DUKLA's Artur Orling was substituted for Cafu Lenzi. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstanty Koczara, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Costa Rica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, 2006 Los Blancos DUKLA's Wit Gecionis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 90thth minute of the game Konstanty Koczara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The 2006 Los Blancos DUKLA fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when 2006 Los Blancos DUKLA's Konstanty Koczara looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 13-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 95 minutes into the game, Konstanty Koczara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 14-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
