Ecuador's players were relieved. GORNIK PIASKI's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Franciszek Zieba in the 8th minute. Franciszek Zieba made a great header on GORNIK PIASKI's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Julio Vera was a little too slow when Mariusz Nalaskowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as GORNIK PIASKI's Franciszek Zieba slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 2-0 after 27 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 30th minute of play forced GORNIK PIASKI's goalkeeper Boguslaw Zawaski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for GORNIK PIASKI. In the 36th minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariusz Nalaskowski in the 40th minute of the match. GORNIK PIASKI's Franciszek Zieba suffered a sprained foot after 40 minutes and couldn't finish the game. GORNIK PIASKI's Papi Erős was substituted for Franciszek Zieba. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Boguslaw Zawaski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, GORNIK PIASKI's goalkeeper Boguslaw Zawaski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. If Papi Erős had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the game, Zdzislaw Dejo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 71st match minute, GORNIK PIASKI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacek Skoroda to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute of the match Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Boguslaw Zawaski skillfully saved the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomasz Burufski, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The corner led GORNIK PIASKI's Mariusz Nalaskowski to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After having played for 85 minutes, Mariusz Nalaskowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GORNIK PIASKI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariusz Nalaskowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. GORNIK PIASKI's Boguslaw Zawaski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because GORNIK PIASKI had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
