With a little luck, Taiwan Engineers Company's Raul Lucero got control of the ball when Piboon Thongjib tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mariano Sifon's late challenge caught a Buddahs Maggots's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Buddahs Maggots's Rakkiat Wattanont ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Raul Lucero. Raul Lucero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Saranyu Nutchanart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Taiwan Engineers Company fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Buddahs Maggots were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
