Kevin Mastache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holger Vester having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Hammarby IF's zone, Axel Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Holger Vester came out of the goal and Axel Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santino Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A throw-in in the 35th minute of the game was made by Blanco Mera with Celedonio Dominguez as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 36 minutes into the match, Hammarby IF's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Holger Vester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francesco Totti scored 2-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Hammarby IF's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Holger Vester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Holger Vester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Mastache in the 58th minute of play. Axel Montenegro came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Holger Vester could save by the left post. Holger Vester made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Holger Vester threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abram Sarmiento, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Blanco Mera made in the 70th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Silas Duarte. 72 minutes into the match, Hammarby IF's goalkeeper Holger Vester had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santino Seco. Hammarby IF's Holger Vester proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Hammarby IF from getting a goal against them. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ola Bremming went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Abram Secada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Holger Vester made a huge save. 89 minutes into the match, Hammarby IF's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Holger Vester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hammarby IF's Blanco Mera got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Holger Vester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Mastache in the 94th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hammarby IF had won after a very even match.
