Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of play forced Björkö BK's goalkeeper Mariusz Zdeb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Björkö BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mariusz Zdeb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Elias Strömqvist notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmy Friberger in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 14th minute of play forced Björkö BK's goalkeeper Mariusz Zdeb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariusz Zdeb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariusz Zdeb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. Timmy Friberger was extremely unlucky when he, in the 23rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariusz Zdeb breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mariusz Zdeb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of the match. Björkö BK's Mariusz Zdeb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 31st minute of play. Mariusz Zdeb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

52 minutes into the match, Björkö BK's Jeferson Melo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 54 minutes Björkö BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. In the 56th minute of the match, Luis Andino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mariusz Zdeb saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Elias Strömqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Björkö BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Strömqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Björkö BK's Bengt-Åke Fridlund was substituted for Rutger Jelm. Mariusz Zdeb was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 78 minutes into the match, Björkö BK's goalkeeper Mariusz Zdeb had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. With a little luck, Björkö BK's Mariusz Zdeb got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 81 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. After 86 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mariusz Zdeb was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Strömqvist in the 89th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Elias Strömqvist made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Björkö BK throughout the match.
