Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kyle Davies kicked off to start the match. A well-hit corner resulted in Alessandro Meirelles heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Luisinho Netto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horácio Alcântara succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 10th playminute. The crowd rose to their feet as Jairo Dante kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bruno Barrett. That made the score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. In the 16th minute Stanley Wallace shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu Lamego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Curacao's Bruno Barrett got control of the ball when Luisinho Netto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th minute SAO JOANENSE FC were awarded a corner. Carlos Eduardo Toledo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Carlos Eduardo Toledo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett did a great save. The crowd rose to their feet as SAO JOANENSE FC's Jairo Dante slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bruno Barrett. That made the score 3-0 after 22 minutes of play. Bruno Barrett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luisinho Netto went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Bruno Barrett was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Horácio Alcântara showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 36 minute of play. Luisinho Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Meirelles, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Bruno Barrett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luisinho Netto in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jairo Dante to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Alessandro Meirelles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 55th minute Luisinho Netto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Curacao defense, Alessandro Meirelles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. The Curacao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Barrett should have stopped the shot. Luisinho Netto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Jairo Dante managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAO JOANENSE FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Dante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Barrett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by SAO JOANENSE FC's Jairo Dante. But to his dismay, Jairo Dante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Alessandro Meirelles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. After 73 minutes of play, SAO JOANENSE FC's Alessandro Meirelles made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Luisinho Netto put it in 12-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luisinho Netto's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. SAO JOANENSE FC's Horácio Alcântara got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luisinho Netto took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 13-0. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Luisinho Netto put it in 14-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Meirelles in the 93rd minute of play. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Dante in the 94th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Alessandro Meirelles put it in 15-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bruno Barrett. There was no doubt that SAO JOANENSE FC were the better team. SAO JOANENSE FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
