To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 82 minutes, Eduardo Enol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tottenham Hotspurs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Enol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 84 minutes, Eduardo Enol made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Salvador Gisbert struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Damián Martínez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela.
