In the 7th minute Gregorio Montez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Marek Pliszka in the 8th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Alonso Berganza. In the 9th play minute Gregorio Montez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rolando Noboa. 1-0. After 12 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Russówek's goalkeeper Daniel Kieca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 25 minutes into the game, Russówek's Gregorio Montez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 28 minutes into the match, Russówek's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Daniel Kieca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Julian Murillo put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Daniel Kieca. After a rather tough play, Russówek's Edward Traczewski got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 2-3 came in the 34th minute when Luz Tejedor all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Daniel Kieca. Daniel Kieca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Russówek's Daniel Kieca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 41st minute of play. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Anthony Alvarado hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. Russówek's Daniel Kieca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 53rd minute of play. After 53 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Emmanuel Reyes. Salvador Quezada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Russówek's Ryszard Skonieczny was substituted for Salvador Quezada. Kajetan Nalaskowski made in the 59th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Kennet Hedlund however managed to control. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryszard Skonieczny in the 72nd minute of play. Russówek made a substitution. Jakub Gdowski replaced Gregorio Montez. 79 minutes into the game, Milagros Fraga threw the ball into play from the sideline. Russówek's Stanislaw Skrzypek quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.
