Navarro Montoya dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 35th minute Börje Forsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Navarro Montoya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Navarro Montoya quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 38th minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Primitivo Andino hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute Bo Cantona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Bo Cantona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Vera was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Börje Forsberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Börje Forsberg really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Bo Cantona might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bo Cantona ran back to his position shaking his head. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Bo Cantona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. 51 minutes into the match, Jastreb's Bo Cantona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Bo Cantona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Sixto Figueroa kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Navarro Montoya made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Jastreb's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. In the 61st minute Bo Cantona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jastreb's Bo Ronaldo was substituted for Börje Forsberg. Jastreb made a substitution. Bo Nesta replaced Marco Materazzi. In the 71stth minute of the game Bo Cantona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jastreb's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ilko Smoje in the 72nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Imants Blasāns got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jastreb were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ilko Smoje took the corner. The corner led Jastreb's Ilko Smoje to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jastreb's Witalis Fedosz was substituted for Miran Tudor. In the 79th minute Bo Cantona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bo Cantona took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Navarro Montoya made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Primitivo Andino sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Primitivo Andino took a quick shot and it went in 5-2 without a chance for Navarro Montoya to make any attempt to save it. 94 minutes into the game, Bo Nesta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jastreb's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Bo Nesta kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
