When USA's Cassius Byrne in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AC LeX Luthor's goalie prevented a goal. Cassius Byrne took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fulgencio Eyague. Fulgencio Eyague dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Fulgencio Eyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Mcdonald came free, but Fulgencio Eyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in USA's zone, Zeledon Savion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Day came out of the goal and Zeledon Savion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, AC LeX Luthor's Marco Day threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alvaro Errando, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alvaro Errando might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Day. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Errando ran back to his position shaking his head. When Isidro Oliviero came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the AC LeX Luthor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidro Oliviero couldn't finish the play. Alvaro Errando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Fulgencio Eyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute Isidro Oliviero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvaro Errando got free with Marco Day in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Fulgencio Eyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidro Oliviero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. AC LeX Luthor were furious when Matias Porfiro was red carded, 47 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 47th minute, one of AC LeX Luthor:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AC LeX Luthor. AC LeX Luthor:s Fulgencio Eyague showed great skill when he stopped Cassius Byrne:s penalty. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvaro Errando made a kick off. Fulgencio Eyague showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Cassius Byrne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Fulgencio Eyague tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alvaro Errando came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the AC LeX Luthor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvaro Errando couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute, Monty Rogers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fulgencio Eyague was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk was substituted for Isidro Oliviero. AC LeX Luthor made a substitution. Pedro Lucas replaced Alvaro Errando. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 70th minute of play forced AC LeX Luthor's goalkeeper Fulgencio Eyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Pancho Branca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague got control of the ball when Sam Campbell tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 93 minutes of play, AC LeX Luthor's Karl-Axel Kielstedt made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Day was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Pedro Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC LeX Luthor's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Lucas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The USA players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
