That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Carlos Mei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Carlos Mei sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Vieira came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lyle Coppack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 14th minute of play. Lyle Coppack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 14th minute of the match. Carlos Mei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Felix Montenegros short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Lyle Coppack to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Felix Montenegro had several of the Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 56 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-2 score and a disappointed Lyle Coppack as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Lyle Coppack in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Carlos Mei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Carlos Mei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Mei in the 67th minute of play. Agustín Saelices could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Lyle Coppack made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Lyle Coppack successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 76 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Mei came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fábio Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Daniel Zorita hit a great ball. The Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
