Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sulo Montaña to make the kick off. Jan Dixon shot a long shot in the 96th minute and a light blocked George Buturugã hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-3.
